Hi opeEuler Community,

Thinking that this topic I created will contribute to the society, I would like to explain an error I encountered during the installation process.

I have tried to install openEuler on the Atlas 800 Model 3010 server and I have faced different outputs. Firstly, I haven't seen anything about installation GUI. I have restart the installation process many time but I have always seen the CLI installation menu. You can see what I seen int the openEuler installation process below.

Secondly, I have started the installation process using this CLI installation menu and then waited for about 3 hours for its full completion. However, I restarted the installation process many times until it was finished because I never thought it would take 3 hours :)

I tought that there was a mistake because I have completed the vm installation with same image file from the scratch in 15 minutes. I know that, these are not same thing but 3 hours is so big installation time. My expectation is it should have been max 1 or 1,5 hour. I don't know why it takes too much time than the others (VM, desktop machines, etc.) but I suspect that it may related to Atlas server bios or IBMC virtual console. I noticed there might be lag due to the remote connection but I did a speed test and the results were good. Maybe, the server has wrong configuration thus the installation process takes forever or it is related to openEuler 21.03 LTS-SP1 distribution. At the end of the day, I completed the installation process but I wonder that why it takes too much time. I didn't find the reason of it, that's why I decided write it in gitee issues to support openEuler community. Can you help me to remove this gap? I'm ready to cooperate with you, so if you wish I can provide more details according to your guidance.

Hardware information:

• x86_64
• 2 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 5118 CPU @ 2.30GHz
• 64 GB RAM
• 1 x Atlas 300I Model 3010

Software Information:

• openEuler 20.03 LTSP-SP1 (x86_64)
