Currently, there are more and more customers run their webserive on nginx, but lack some functionalities, so they want to still use the nginx but some advanced functions. Then they plan to exchange nginx to tengine without so much changes towards their existing products.

So we plan to introduce tengine into openEuler for usability and extending eco-system.
