For several times, I was asked how to become a member in Technical Committee. I list some examples:
My employer is a big operating system vendor, and there are skilled experts. Could you add them into Technical Committee?
Mr. X is the architect of my employer, could you please add him into the list of Technical Committee memebers?
If I dominate $$ to openEuler community, could openEuler community assign a seat of Technical Committee to me?
On one hand, I am happy to hear those requirements because it shows that people are willing to contribute to openEuler community. On the other hand, I am a little puzzled by those because i thought they should have understood what a seat or member means in open source community.
An idea came to my mind. Instead of replying one by one, I would rather ask help for community members to show your opinions and then I can provide the discussion to who ask me similar questions in the future.
Please leave your thoughts in this issue.
Please comment whatever opinion you are interested.
Either English or Chinese is fine.
Just remember to BE NICE TO OTHERS.
Finally, I will collect all the opinions and
Write a blog (If you want to do this, fully fine)
Put the opinions agreed by the majority into the governance
